Why don't you stop talking like a putz and just be normal. It's starting to get old and annoying.

Regarding Mollette's post...

You have been subjected for too long to today's standards and morals!

You see, what you just suggested was for all of humanity to shrivel up and disappear.

Everyone has their own opinions? You don't have the right to change anyone's mind???
Is that really what you meant to say...

That's ridiculous.

Society today, through all forms of media, centres you on yourself. Individuality. It is best for me to get what I want, regardless of what anyone else thinks.
MY OPINION IS RIGHT (this opinion is wrong)

Much as they'd like you to believe, truth is not subjective. You can't just do whatever you want.
Some opinions are just wrong.

Now. Communication. Any form of speech. Whenever you open your mouth or type something out, the intent is to form someone else's opinion. Example:
"How are you today?" --I care how you're feeling
"Ok, but I've got a bit of a headache." --I have a headache

Knowledge is transferred. Opinions are shifted.

So why bother? Let's just shut up and stop talking to each other, because we really can't change anyone else's opinions.
That's retarded!

Much as they'd like you to believe, truth is not subjective.

about that... what kind of truth?
there are basic facts that are immutable but somethings, no matter how much we wish them to be, are only subjective. All of what we think is morally wrong could be right somewhere else. Truth is less real then we would like it to be.
Ummm...Yay?

"could be right somewhere else"
No. Truth is objective, everywhere.
Our minds take truth and interpret it as we please, which creates opinions.
Opinions are subjective. But if you step outside of human consciousness, out of all that confusion, away from opinions, there is only one truth.

Truth is a human concept. To step outside human consciousness would be to remove that and all the concepts we use to view the world. We can't do that. Science thinks it has answers. But how long ago was the world flat? Religion is the same.

And what if this is all there is. We percieve that thing we can't know as what we see and feel. Without that subjective independent view what is there? maybe everything is just a bunch of signals sent to our brain. But that implies that there is a brain to recieve signals.

And if there is only one truth we can never know it for reasons stated previous. A truth we CANNOT know is the same as the absence of a truth.
Ummm...Yay?

Yes, but the only truth is in fact outside of human consciousness. The truth that we create based on this reality are flimsy, sure, but they are still reflections of the truth.
You say that not too long ago the world was flat. Was it? No. According to human opinion it was. But outside of that feeble opinion is, of course, the truth that the world is round. You see what I mean? In the end there is only truth. We're the ones who invent the lies because we can't grasp Truth.

And why do we invent the lies? We cannot grasp the truth...

A truth we CANNOT know is the same as the absence of a truth.

we can't even know if it is there (there being that thing we cannot know) whether or not it is, is moot point. Truth (or non-truth) only matters because we feel it does (or doesn't). Our subjective views create the world we can know. the other (if it is there) we can never know.

Example: Rock A is intelligent Rock B is not A and B have the same capicity to communicate with outside influences...none Does it matter if Rock A is intelligent while Rock B isn't? Correct me if i'm wrong but it does seem to matter

P.s. teehee i can see my name 3 times teehee
Ummm...Yay?
