Any chance of creating a radio station? I have some DJ experience but I don't know how to set up an online station. If anyone know how to help out or is just in favor of it, please raise your voice about it.

Well, being as this is DJ Coretechs, probably techno for the most part. He is my main techno provider.

I've looked into this a few times and have even streamed music off my computer for people. The problem comes when you try to cram a lot of audio data down your low bandwidth connection. There's just not enough space for more than a couple people on a typical cable line. Maybe you are in university and want to use their line. That won't work either. You'd need to forward port(s) through their system to your computer. Setting up servers to bounce the audio off of might be an option but I'm still not sure how well that would work. Perhaps some kind of podcast would be better. Eg. an hour long show a couple days a week or something that is put up for download.

Yeah, I think the podcast thing would be good to start with. Maybe get some sort of publicity for an upcoming stream or something. But I'd eventually like to go live with it.
(and Kinewa, it's not Techno, it's electronic music/electronica)

Wicked awesome! Go Coretechs!
I humbly offer myself as your first cohost guest. You can interview me about Professional Man and I can blatantly redirect your questions and cast a generally mystical light on the thing.

Seriously though, this is neat. We can turn Fondusis into a haven devoted to protecting the integrity of all forms of art.

On a tangent, act in a way you know is right. Don't change because other people complain. It comes down to this: why are you doing it? To please the masses?
I've seen far too many webcomics (all manner of media, actually) that have bent and broken for the sake of the audience. Ben Farber's http://www.meninhats.com is of these. The comic was great, but pharisees in the forums continually tore it down. This comic sucks because I say so. You must be a nazi. The comics were better before you were pandering to your audience... which is me... so really I'm being the problem.
So Mr. Farber got tired of it and quit. That is a shame. The lesson he took from this experience is that he doesn't have to listen to the whining of malcontents so any future artistic ventures will not include forums or a link to his email address. That also is a shame.

Just some thoughts.

sum day ill eat ur cat ricko...

I still need to figure out how do do some things. I am currently familiar with SAM Broadcaster but I need to get and access key to use after the trial. It's about $200 from the site. Does anyone happen to know how to get it *ahem* without charge?

Also, Casey, I don't know if I can get you on the podcast without you physically being there when I do it. Some things I still need to work out.

Also, also, Drackir... Any chance of getting some free bandwidth with my name on it? Just so I can post podcasts without uploading them to a third party.

I want to make radio commercials that advertise corn.

Don't question my motives.

I don't think I want to question your motives...

But they are obviously very sinister.

Anything involving corn could be nothing less than sinister.
