Okay guys, here's where we can discuss the Elf King roleplay. If you need to know anything to do with the roleplay and want to ask me, here's where you post it. I will also be placing messages here in case I think clarification is needed for whatever may come up. If you're interested in what the DM is thinking when she does anything stupid or crazy, then I recommend coming here every once in a while.

For the record, OOC is out of character. now then, is my style of gameplay too disrupting? I am heavily influenced by D&D so it kinda shows.

Should I stop my heavy kill techniques so that others can do as they please? its no bother to me, just want to know.

Well, it is rather obvious that your D&D roots are coming out here. I don't mind it too much (although it isn't necessary) just remember that I'd like to keep most of the PC's at around the same level. Try to start battles instead of ending them with one hit, it makes the roleplay more interesting. Mind you, I can understand that is an important aspect of your character.

Continue as you are and if there are problems we can tackle them as they come.

if a die system were being used then i'd be fine with your style and would probably adopt a more direct approach my self. BUT since this is all word play a little more subtlety may go a long way (espicially against the more "important" NPC's)

Sorry, Mitz, didn't mean to set a fire under you. I don't have an issue with the D&D stuff. Its your play style and none of my business to begin with. However, the only complaint I have if you kill NPCs too fast.

And thats not even really that big of an issue to begin with.

well, quetz is right, if I am the killer in the group it kind of defeats the purpose. but, as an assasin I need to be able to make a one hit kill on an enemy in certain circumstances. kinda like in POP, the two thrones.

In fact, that is an excellent idea. no words for mindless drones but talking for important NPCs, Kay? kay. now someone post dammit!

I think everyone is pretty much in a "Crap... Um. What is there to do now?" state. Kinewa, I think this is your cue to do something DM-like.
