Mmmm intresting stuff guys. A couple good guesses, but ultimately you all off.

Alexis would be classified as Non elimental. Basically all his abilities fall under the shadow and light classification. Meaning hes a incredibly well rounded character, however he is the master of no trade when it comes to eliments. But something else that should be realized is because of this, as we take on crystals, his barriers fuinctions would dramatically change, but not become more powerful until all the crystals were taken up.

Basically now, his barrier would be a wall of fire rather then a wall of impercable force. Gains alot of offensive power, but loses alot of defense. However, when we gain another eliment it will drift to a balance between the two. Now if we got earth for example, it would make his barrier a wall of summonable magma. But if we got water, he might gain the ability to make a curtian of hot mist that slowly burns the flesh of enimies.

Also, when Alexis aquires all the crystals, his balanced will be restored and his origianal function will return to normal and he will attack with force walls again.

But they'll be much more powerful...

Yes, for the most part, if we fought the water pillar, his fire barriers would become more or less useless. But remember, he still has other skills he's keeping in reserve... not to mention he still is a decent physical fighter.

Yes, Quez is correct. We will fight another though as everyone seems to think it would have been fun to do. I'll just make the group that fought them fail, and then we only do one one-on-one battle.
