It was HIS fault.

I guess Rickoshay's psychic abilities have now passed themselves onto Megell.

Yeah... but I could do individual notes...

Learn to shred and write english essays, Steve Vai style!

Make it a meth lab and you've got Pink Floyd

:P

#7268 Computer Talk

Posted by Keisad on 25 June 2007 - 08:32 PM in Downloads

Hah. Boy have we ever gotten off topic...

This little program is useful. Could I manage to open programs using things other than my voice?

For example, playing certain chords on the guitar would write a corresponding letter in a text editing program. I would be able to write my english essays by playing guitar!

I need to know of it's adaptability. Are tangents like this possible?

Glad you posted this.

#8792 Debate? Win vs Linux? Maybe...

Posted by Keisad on 30 November 2007 - 03:22 PM in Rants, Raves 'n Debates

The free software foundation hires and pays, developers.

Farmers do not take advantage. They do not have a monopoly. However, Microsoft is tryign to keep their grubby hands on theirs.

Also, I am not sure abotu other stores, but Staples will not sell you a computer with Windows on it. IS this some sort of contract?

#8771 Debate? Win vs Linux? Maybe...

Posted by Keisad on 29 November 2007 - 08:51 AM in Rants, Raves 'n Debates

I have returned.

http://www.bbspot.co..._Buys_Evil.html

Look Ben. It is now obvious that Microsoft is evil. Repent, and be clean!

But anyways Megell, the fact is, open source is good. Microsoft doesn't care about what you need, they just want your money, and don't want you making a profit off of it.

However, the whole idea of open source is freedom, the ability to create and use programs freely, and to modify, for ones needs. If we apply the idea of Microsoft to everyday life, it would be like me selling you a car, and it really needed new tires. But you aren't allowed to change the tires on the car. No, you would have to buy the tires especially from me, and no one else. The whole idea of restricting the ability to modify software creates a monopoly, which is unhealthy in the realm of computers.

Microsoft cares not for whats best for you, but what is best for the company.

#8341 Debate? Win vs Linux? Maybe...

Posted by Keisad on 08 September 2007 - 09:53 AM in Rants, Raves 'n Debates

I guess Rick just has a thing for crap and vulnerable software.

You mean Windows?

Oh touch?. And very quick.

Is your continuing slavish devotion to the almighty penguin the reason we haven't seen on the beta by the way?

I put Ubuntu on my old PC, but im having trouble with the wireless card... so i'll be joing you soon in the 'nothing works with my machine' club.

Hardware problems in Linux = Some time and free expertise from any of the forums used to asisst Linux users.

Hardware problems in Windows = Taking it to a shop a paying for fixing, with a nice fat charge.

And anyways, why would you pay for faulty software? Just to spend more money on third party programs (or from Microsoft itself) to be able to use it effectively?

Anyways, now I stop, before I get admin'd.

Dood! I had that .gif uploaded on my photobucket for years. I left it in unsuspecting animal rights and cruelty websites.

Casey totally h4cked me.

I'll just blame it on Windows.

And by the way Megell, thanks for the print credits.

And for access to your gaia account.

And for access to your email.

And at one time, even your colony-wars account.

....

And for knowing I had your passwords the whole time, and not doing anything about it.

Now I can see where you get all your knowledge about women from XP

Oh, Megell. Change your freaking password.

And BTW, no one else has bothered because it's gotten too easy. I'm just nosy :P

But it's true, he did have a different password for his gaia account. I believe I had it at one time though.
