I didnt research the server that the disapearing Feudal Ages was on but Nexemis.com still shows "This page is parked free, courtesy of GoDaddy.com". This means that whoever set up that site regestered and or hosted through godaddy(the same service used to set up the new site). It is reasonable to assume that it was the same person who set up both. On the other hand this time it seems to be registered until 2008 so it shouldnt disapear quickly like Feudal Ages.
#2170 PS3 pricing
Posted by Baylro on 09 May 2006 - 06:29 AM in Chat-Box
$499 for 20 gig PS3
$599 for 60 gig PS3
You have to wonder how much these consoles actually cost to make... $100 for just a 40 gig upgrade?? That is robbery at retail pricing nevermind whatever huge wholesale discounts they are getting.
A few months ago i got a 200gig Seagate for $80 and prices for hard disk storage seem to gradually be going down. ><

Looks like the basic one will be good enough for my needs. Theres no way i see myself affording a HDTV in the near future. I already have a wireless adapter for my xbox. I dont plan on using it to dl much from the online marketplace(mostly just maps, profiles, ect.) so i wont need the extra 40 gigs. The 360 seems to be a better way to view pics/movies and listen to mp3s by streaming over lan/wan than physically plugging in various flash memory modules.
btw... thank god they got rid of that boomerang controller! why change what works?

Also if you can hold off till Longhorn comes out hardware prices will most likely drop. Increased required specs will drive mid range components down as they cant be used with newer machines.

If the ps3 package stays as currently configured(with the same pricing) ill probably just get a 360 in october when prices drop and wait till at least one if not two price drops for the ps3 premium.
Seems Sony did a great job of hyping everyone up at e3! ^^

I hate how nintendo always puts stuff in games that you have to buy more hardware to use. They should be able to do this with a single controler if there is a gyro in it. Controllers arent so bad as they will be used in multiplayer games as well but some of us just dont want a portable gaming system. Some single-player games will require the player to attach two Wiimotes together at the port end. This connection device will be provided with the game, and can bend to several set degrees - "lightsabre"
