Okay. So, after fighting with myself for a long time about what I wanted to do with this, I decided that it is best to use the Persian Empire. That way, anybody knowedgable in any particular region in this time period would have something to bring to the table. From Babylon to Egypt, from Persia to India - Whatever you can think of in the Middle Eastern area is available.

This is best, as my Sikh idea would have required most people to do a lot of reading. I don't think people have that in mind when they join an RP. Well, at least not a lot of reading in order to simply create a character and understand the world.

SO, how about it? Who's interested?

1550−1070 BC were the primary years. Later, the invasions began. It would be placed in the late New Kingdom.

SO, it would be still classical in its establishments and religion, with little outside influence. no alexandria since there is no alexander.

Abyssinia and Armenia are still apart of the collection and the persian influence is just wearing off, with the aid of the marmelukes.

What would you like to know?

Me? I'm fine. I know what I need to know. And, upon further reading into more subjects, I'm starting to think of making it more India-based. Probably around the same time period, perhaps a little bit later, where many people were fighting over the land. Egyptian things would be involved, but I'm starting to think that it may be better to make it Indian based.

Besides, I'd be far too tempted to go crazy with the Gods involved in Egypt. Perhaps to the point where it may cause drawbacks to the RP. Though you obviously know a lot, so if you wish, you can still make your character Egypt based. Mine will be from India though.

Okay, sorry to mislead, but I'm totally changing things around now. Are you guys familiar with the Sikhs? That's a bunch almost as interesting as the Spartans, in my opinion.

hmm, easy solution, persian. basically from sea to shining sea. china, mongolia, india siam, north africa. all are included, plus there is alot of player friendly things occuring in the dwindling empire, a vast choice of characters and endless instances where different skill will be required, plus if it were a battle style we could face all kinds of enemies, from rebellions, to fully equipped trojan and greek armies. as well as the germans and early romans.

oh shit, wait sikh? not to familiar about them, outside of the religion.

Man, I don't know what I want to do. I think, for the sake of NOT making people read a bunch of crap, the Persian empire might be best.

I thought so. the only problem is avoiding the hype that was 300. THIS IS SPARTA!

kicks you into the abyss

and casey? I need to make a new round shield, the movie has reminded me how to take care of dan. see what you can do to aid this endeavor.

When will you start? as always the banks of UI are open for your research.

Well, the beauty of this is, I can operate on the knowledge I have now. See, with this idea, individual players only require the knowledge of the region of their own characters. So all I need to do is present a map of Persian territory as well as other growing empires in that time period so people can do whatever they like.

w00t!!

Haha, I hope to have it up in the next couple of days. I need to create a central theme and storyline before I launch it, as the basically pure free-form thing I had in mind with the Ruina RP obviously wasn't working for me.

EDIT: Also, be sure to include a brief history lesson to explain any character's heritage, as some people won't be familiar with some regions.

Oh man, do I have an awesome idea. I think you'll really like this, Miz. And I know that Quez will, and Megell may show some interest as well. I'll actually have it up by tomorrow afternoon, in all likelihood.

Just a piece of advice that I figured out the hard way, don't get obbessed with technical details. just do whats fun and intresting... and don't use 4 words when 1 will do just as well. (if you catch my drift.) well thats my advice. Looking faward to waht you make. (and Yes, I do read every RP even if I'm not involved. :D )

Hi I am looking to get a Persian Cat about 1 year old that needs rehoming or a Kitten.

Preferably female.

Does anyone know of any breeders or rehoming centres in this area that may be able to help me.

Thanks in advance.

Sex adds inches to your waist... In increasing amounts for about... nine months.
