I had to write a research paper/set of instructions/tutorial/thing for my web class and I chose to do it on the XMLHTTPRequest object. This is how facebook, gmail, etc. submits forms and updates parts of their pages without refreshing the whole page and without using frames. You can check my tut out here: http://tutorials.dra...xmlhttprequest/
It's not complete but it's the basics.
Let me know what you think.
Something cool for you web designers out there

Awesome. I love web design, and consequently I love you, Drackir.

Kinewa! Come over someday soon! Wednesday through Friday I'm working not-totally-ridiculous-hours, and if my internal clock is wound up tightly enough, so are you. So stick around in my town before various events (John's, Groundswell, the.rest_of.your.life) and we'll go foresting and also:
I'm setting up cutterjohn as a haphazard webserver, so bring your laptop and we'll Django! Web design Django!
