I was thinking, what if depending on what guild or level of person you are killing a cirtain npc would result in negative or positive points, kind of like a good evil system, like lets say you are part of the knights guild, and if you kill dragons or trolls in cirtain areas like olong paths or in towns you get guild points that could be used as curency to get special sprite skins or weapons or get access to special quests..

What do you mean as currency? Like you get them and then use them to buy things or you need to have a certain amount to buy certain things?

it could go anyway, not really sure on the details, i was thinking like lets say at some towns tehre are city guards that walk around if you were part of a guild that was loyal to the empire and you went around killing guards and such you would get negative points of some sort that would then in turn have some npcs that would not talk to you or let you do quests because you are bad, something to that effect

OK sounds good. Write me up some more info on it and send it to me (or post in staff forum), I'll add it to the doc.

I really think thats a good idea but forget the guild points that would be rather a pain cause youd half to check all these things like do i have any new guild points any new pm's? Any new updates and it owuld take forevea and by the time you check all this stuff you wont be able to get on and actually play for a not a vewry long while...you see what im sayin?

GuildPoints would be a number that increases for you to increase in guild rank and do other fun stuff.

hhhmmm i kinda agree cause it leads to a good path but know any simpler ways so it won't take too long to get to the fun stuff? Like actually you could do that but to do it your gonna half to get nal to write down with that info like how much guild points you half to get to access certain fun things. :)

Maybe you could do it like World of Warcraft DKP. The guildmaster sets how much the members gain for completing certain objectives, and the points can be used within the guild to bid on various rare item drops, or to otherwise just bid on items put up for auction by the guildmaster. I just think that total control for this should rest in the hands of the guildmaster.

Well what about the guild members in the lower rank shouldn't they get at least SOME privlages and not just let the guildmaster just do all of it because we would just be board in the lower ranks. So how about the higher rank you get in your guild the more privlages or more fun privlages you get.

I guess it would make sense to just let anyone auction off items. I don't know if it should be a true auction, though, because it would be better if the guild points just disappear when spent, rather than going to whoever auctioned the item.

ricko the point to these games is to work hard level up become strong and adventure, would you just like the best weapons a million gold and to be lvl 100? that would be boring, the fun of these games is working hard to get to a place of importance, and the satisfaction of puting in all that effort and getting great things from it

I don't really like the idea of GP's as a form of currency. I think of it more like the guild master sets a certain number for each rank of the guild and when you get that amount of GP's you get that rank allowing you to do new guild things. Your GP's would be more of a sign of your...vetran-ness(?) depending how high they were.
