C?mon then, you obvious you aren?t even going to give us even a closed alpha to play about with? so for your loyal ?fans? you could maybe give us a few teasers:
For example what is the story line centred around? is there an ?aim? or is it a sandbox affair?
Have you decided upon a PK system yet?
Can you release the world map for us to look at?
Have you got bored and given up ?

Hehe. Yeah I was wondering when people were going to start asking.
The updated story can be found here: http://www.drackir.com/info.php
We're still working on the PK system but there are going to be two separate factions that you may choose to join which will determine what guilds you can join and who you can PK and not PK.
Not the entire world map as I have a special plan for that...hehe but I will give you a small chunk of it.
This is Faifo Village and the mountain surrounding it: http://www.drackir.c...aifoVillage.gif
Note: This is 12 maps out of approximately 160 (doesn't include caves or indoors) that make up the whole world.
NEVER!!!

Hey, I've been asking that ever since I found out about your project.
Sweet maps, now is there any chance of a playable version?
C'mon, even just the one town would be awesome.
Fulfill my craving to break games!
I must break...
The places of a bone which have healed end up being the strongest parts.
Let me toy with the limits!

Don't worry in time you will. I am working on something else right now just to get my brain away for a break but when that is done (I'll be putting it up for download) I will get back to work on the game. To be honest things have slowed down some for the past little bit but I'm just letting everyone have a bit of a break. Then I'll get a new updated client for staff to make the quests and such and a beta test won't be far off after that.

Sweet, any chance I could claim to be part of the staff in order to get that client? I'll even do some work!
I could expand on the story or something. I could fill in the plot or something. Anything to get that sneak peak
P.S. I do have a windows computer... I had just planned on never ever letting it touch the internet. It's got about 3 G space... I guess I could throw in a 15G. What are the system/software requirements? I warn you, this computer is old and sucky.

What are it's specs/OS. I'm not sure if the game runs on ME/98. But if you have the latest directx I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Oh god, i remember Me, it would fall over and die everytime you sneezed. Despite my oft-mentioned general disdain for MS, you have to admit XP is not too bad...
Well no-one can blame you for taking a break Drack, but whatever your reasons are for writing this wonderful sounding game, completing the project will help achieve them i guess.
I wish i could help, as with all of these projects i guess its the skills in demand are actual coding, and anything i know is deeply routed in the 20th century no reason to learn it for my work, so i've let it lapse somewhat...
But anything at all in terms of grind work you need, contrary to my posts here my english kicks arse, its what i do, so any faqs or EULAs or whatever ...
Good to see Casey back!

Yo.
Uh... Specs of computer. I'll check when I get home. I forgot last time.
Bug me on msn, or buzz me on gmail or something.
And gimme some work! Let me write npc dialogue or something. Heck, I could even write documentation once I have a copy of the game.
Hm... DirectX on Linux short of Cedega ($)? Hm hm... I think I actually installed it for something recently... Neverwinter Nights? Nah, that runs under Linux. Same with RTCW.
