Ok, so this is apparently old news but I just recently found out that internet tab sites are being forced to remove their tabs due to the threat of legal action. This is stupid and I hate them. *Anger* Anyways, just thought I'd inform you guys if you didn't already know.

Yeah it really sucks. Mxtabs was a great resource and now every tab comes up with a disclaimer saying they can't show it. Other sites like bassmasta.net decided to take it a different way by adding a disclaimer to the top of all tabs:
#-----------------------------PLEASE NOTE------------------------------#
# The owner of this website has not reviewed the contents of this #
# file. If you feel that the content of this file may be violating #
# copyright law, you may not use the information displayed here in #
# any way. #
#----------------------------------------------------------------------#

Hehe. I'm not sure if that'll save them but its a good try anyways.

Haha, I saw somebody use that on Soulseek. Something about officials who could use the information against him not able to view his files, according to law 48765ihjfsi biparagraph bd which was signed by Clinton himself. Yeeah... Methinks it's a bunch of carp (but also not applicable here in Canada).

Hey... I read a book about a data haven. It was set up on some obscure island in the Phillipines with data running underwater to China or something. The island was owned by some rich Arabic prince (or something, anyways, he was THE government) and he fully agreed with the idea of a data haven. The whole point was that it could never be touched by nasty mean governments like ours and the USs. (Neal Stephenson, Cryptonomicon. Excellent book.)
It would rock so very very very much if we had a server on that island. We could display all the tabs we wanted.

sum day ill eat ur cat ricko...
