Alright, I'm not too pleased with how this drawing turned out all in all. Many of the aspects I used backfired in my face, many of the angles made me angry. and all in all, I just frustrated me.

But I digress.

The purpose of this art was to show an idea. To explian why nerdy guys, the most common of which live in their parrents basement, are addicted to linix

Thus I give you Lin-Ex.

As a side note, if anyone can give me a decent tutorial on drawing hands, It would be VERY much apreciated. Recently, all my hands look like either spatuals, or manfunctioned metel shop projects...

Tis the lack of well formed hips that did that, compounded with the fact that the angle I was originally heading for was really difficult. But like I said, I would usually never post something this low par, unless it was just for humer purposes.

@Quez: I can tell, the )) brackets gave it away without even reading your text. Its my drinking and typing error as well.

Agreed. Mozilla Firefox ftw.

As for the artwork itself, you pretty much addressed the main problems with it. I'm no artist, so I can't give you many tips, but you seem to know what you need to work on anyway. The hands, defiantly.

As for the artwork itself, you pretty much addressed the main problems with it. I'm no artist, so I can't give you many tips, but you seem to know what you need to work on anyway. The hands, defiantly.

That's generally the hardest part: figuring out (and admitting) what you did wrong and trying to make it better next time.

The irony is that not long ago, Megell gave ME a hand drawing tutorial. ;)

Drawing hands is not like riding a bike.

Unless you consider that one time my parrents let me tie a rope to the back of the truck, and to my bikes handle bars...

But thats another story.

Anyways, i swear to Dog, I taught my self how to draw, then forgotton, hands. Like at least fifty times... No exageration.

babe, prctice makes perfect, it also helps if you have a live collection to draw from, models if you will.
