The first two and the one with the fruit are spectacular, however I felt the others severely lacking. Perhaps you set too high of a standard for yourself, but I feel that they fail to live up to the others. They're not horrible, just not great or as good as the ones I mentioned.

The others are a couple years old and the ones you mentioned where done in January. So the reason for them being of a better quality possibly is because my style has changed, and also we have alot of drawing weeks which help to improve ones drawing skills. :D

Also the metal work is very good

I see.

And yes, the metal work is good. I was only speaking of the drawings/paintings.

I'd imagine that it did, especially with it being so exacting. I do not have the patience to even draw it, let alone shade it. And that's where I fail as an artist - I am impatient. That, and my utter lack of ability to draw a semi-straight line.

Over the years I have become good at drawing stick figures poorly...

...and with a variety of tools such as crayons, pencils, pencil-crayons and blood.

I love the city. It brings me great joy. ^_^

One question - Was the fruit done with charcoal and a kneaded eraser?

Ah, I just thought it looked a bit gritty like charcoal, which happens to be the only medium that I'm semi-capable of working with.

Omg,I love how you love working with sculpture - because it's so much fun to look at.
1. For the quilt-looking piece, how did you make that? Is it enamel and metal?

2. Also, I agree with you on the pendant.

3. Loff the sculptures :D

Also, also - what course are you taking?

that one is heated up copper engraved and tiny metallic squares on a steel square to look like a mosiac it is meant to look like a peace symbol
this is a load of media experimentation done for this first ever project

Megan, if you don't stop putting derogatory terms in your post I'm going to put "antonym word filters" on the forum. :P (No, seriously I'll do it!)
