Hahah. The work isn't good enough to deserve a thread. Hopefully the one I'm working on at the moment will be though. The contest gave me a well needed boost of inspiration, because after all my talk, I can't let myself be shown up by either of the two that opposed us.

I wouldn't be to worried about coretech. Hes alright, but his photoshop stuff and in implication, his gimp stuff wasn't that great in comtech... However Casey is a bit of a wild card, I've never seen his work in general. So it should be intresting.

EDIT: Also, just to note, this is one of my entries for the siggy competition. Since it turned out far different than I originally wanted, I'll be entering another. Hopefully I'm actually pleased with the next one.

And yes, I've seen worse. Much worse. But the thing that was generally lacking in the ones that I've seen was concept. Concept has never been a problem for me. My problem is getting things to do what I want them to do.

Also, before anyone asks what it is, read the long-winded description in the Competition thread. That should answer all questions, including how I made it.

I've got another one. This one is for my wordpress blog. It didn't take long, and it's nothing too complicated, however I like the simplistic appeal. It still looks nice, regardless of its complexity (or lack of).

Still, I need to try new things. The only thing I did differently this time was making the use of a texture pattern and a new brush set I downloaded. I'm not going too far outside the box.

I did, however, make this one:





Nothing great. In fact, I hate it for the most part. The thing I did with the mirror you'd have to play the game to understand, and everything else generally looks sloppy. But, I tried something new, at least.


Oh, and the reason I didn't make borders, which would have helped a lot, is simply because for the blog banner, it sets it within a border. And for the other one... Well, I said it was sloppy... x_x
