As chess in the mail, I intend to set aside a deck specifically for challenging you to a game here in the forums.
I give my word that I'll be honest and not rig my deck or draw extra or any such thing. I'll mana shuffle as I normally would, play as I normally would, etc.
The only issue in my mind is order and contesting spells. Optimally we'd each post our whole turn, but to make things easier I think we should post by phases.
Each post would include:
turn number
life/poison counters etc.
phase
land in play (tapped/untapped)
creatures in play under my control
other permanents in play under my control
number of cards in my hand
spells
stack
It will certainly be difficult, but I think it might be worth it. A fun experiment, at the very least.
Of course, I'm still going to find a ride up there every once in a while and challenge you with other decks in the mean time.
So?

And I was one to cheat, but those days are long over. I grew a set of balls and began learning from defeat rather than fearing it.

How we gonna keep track of what is in play? hard copy? that site you keep giving me would be good for when we need to see what is really in play.

The online card deck would be MTG Online, but you have to buy all your cards again in digital format.
The Gatherer could be used for reference, or I suppose we could copy the images of the cards we have played into our posts, but we'd run out of room.
Hm... I bet our Dracky could whip something up in php that could grab card scans from the Gatherer and display an up-to-date view of the playing field.

Jagermeister.
Hey, next time we get together, let's play for shots. Instead of starting at 20 life, you take a shot every time you take damage. The trick is once you start losing... you keep losing. The winner is the last person not under the table.
I am, of course, morally opposed to drinking.

And our games usually fall under Vintage, unless I am mistaken. We've certainly never played Standard, though I'm tempted to suggest a draft game when the new series comes out.

All i want to know is if tempest is alright. It should be, what withj the re-release of slivers, and shadow. the two main reason many touraments put a limit on the series to begin with.

it'll put my evil red/white deck to the test...
[sarcasim]Not to mention when casey has to drink 20ish shots near the end of the game... the trip to the ER would be rather entertianing. [/sarcasim]
