Well I just left france and have arrived in our hotel at sweeden. the hotel here is sex in a can. Literally. Its a prison themed hotel so I feel right at home.
Well `nough about that. I` just gotta say, france wasn`t what I expected. The mona lisa to be honest was perhaps one of the most overrated pieces of art in the world. I`m seriously dissapointed.
However, the rest of the leuve was amazin. (insert exclamation mark here. this damn sweedish one doesn`t have that character.)
Anyways. Wish you were all here.
Megell...
Ps. not really actually... but I bet it made u feel better.

Its, to tell the truth a big drag, it lacks many intresting features that many other pieces of art do. The detial isn't that great, and not to mention that the whole thing tends to be a little... small.
The thing is, its the history of the painting that makes it intresting. Not the painting itself. For starters if you don't know, it was the first image to use blurred lines, and stacked paint. But also it also broke all the standard conventions... and in some ways still does... by using raised eyes that make it appear as if the piece of art is looking at you no matter which point in the room you are at.
Its seriously creepy if you ask me....
But asides from that, later paintings all made use of these intresting tools to better make the canvis stick out. Further more, it only became really famous after it was stolen... twice I believe.
Anyways. Thats the painting.
Its kinda lame if you ask me.
And the other pieces of art in the same room were much more intresting. I mean, overall the mona lisa lacked in comparison to the rembrant on the other wall!
Okay, onto the updates. I'm seriously begginning to dispise this tour. No joke. I'm having my usual social difficulties... the same depressing stuff that I always manage to pull. (damned introverted personality around new people.) And the traveling times... oh, don't get me started on those.
But still, the cities are nice, its werid seeing the effile tower and stuff up close and personal. But other then that the whole landscape is rather nice. I wish I could come back here sometime by myself.
Hey, I'm contemplaiting dumping the tour group after venice anyways. Their just kinda irksome... (and I think they think the same about me. Though publically were good. T_T )
Anyways, we just crossed through the town of verona, yep... the one featured in romeo and juiliet. Apparently a couple lived in this city with the same names. And they had a similar history... so the town in a act of tourism attempted to set up a bunch of ''tourist attractions'' to draw people in...
I'll leave the judgements up to you guys.
Anyways. Later people, I'll be heading into venice tomorrow. Wish me luck.
