I chose yes and I have my reasons.

I vote yes, because the universe is a very big place, and to believe that we're the only things in this huge place to have discovered space travel is a little silly. (Add that to the fact we've only physically been around our own solar system, and so many other planets out there are laughing at us for our equivalent of training wheels on a bike).

Do I believe in Roswell and almond-eyed aliens and all that? Haven't decided, but leaning towards a 'Yes, flying things', but 'No, movie looking aliens' thing. Roswell could go either way - no human knows entirely what goes on in the world, but sometimes, science fiction sounds a bit out there.

And that's just what I think~

lol, i was just thinking of that myself. No, I am convinced and er, a litte grammar mishap on my part. I meant to say: " If I saw this and I didn't belive in UFO's, I would belive, and if I already did belive, I would belive twice as much."

live as we know it now would most likely be considered as another time that we were so dumb back then. but thinking this way only makes you with you were born in a another 1000 years to see what we know by then.. if we haven't already destroyed the planet with our stupidity. and anyway, isn't superman technically a UFO whilst people shout It's a bird! So there's life out there. Who cares? They're never going to come here. First off, what are the odds of them being able to find us in an infinite amount of space, second, why would they visit us?
Human beings suck.
We can't even keep half of us fed, while the other half tears up bits of the earth and spreads it on the other bits, burns some into the atmosphere and drowns the rest.
Why are we, as a race, so greedy?
Is it part of nature that we can never be satisfied?

If aliens did ever come visit, they'd either put us out of our misery or leave and never return.

hmm, I agree with casey partialy everything but, they never will come. Its actually likely
because for all we know there could be life forms on the moon planning and invasion on earth as we speak! er, type. So if I were casey I probaly wouldn't make the prediction until we have some proof. Also you said how can they finds in infinite space? To answer that, as I said earlier on this post, they could be living on one of our neighboring planets. Plus, you know how humans can't withstand large amounts of heat or cold? Well just because we can't doesn't mean they can't. See we humans think that we are the dominate species and no one else wishes to mess with us, we think that just because we can't do something, NOTHING else can. So in summary, we humans are greedy jocks who think they are the dominate species.

Oh yeah, other stuff can live in different environments than us, but if you consider an infinite amount of space, the chances of another sentient race being right next to us is next to nil.
And I don't think they'd invade. Humans invade things. If an alien race is going to make it all the way over here, that means:
a) they've found us
b ) they have advanced to the point that they have the means to find us and to get here
c) they haven't killed each other yet, like we're trying to do

So why would they waste their time?

The only instance I could imagine is that they just so happen to live in the same type of atmosphere and general gravity (extremely rare), and their planet is being destroyed some how. For example they've used up all their resources, or civil war has launched nukes at all points of the globe. However. So they launch an ark filled with refugees of a lost planet.
Straight to us. Then, depending on what type of race they are (assuming warlike if they blew their old planet up, assuming dominating if they used up all their resources), they'd react with us in different ways.
Would they kill us all to make room? Would they enslave us?
Knowing ourselves I'd say we couldn't live peacefully.
