(Before you move it drack, it isn?t an art contest, it a contest with art related things!)



Well guys, to be honest, its not really much of a contest? really its just more of the opportunity to have a laugh at another person on the forums. And maybe do something semi artistic at the time. Though not really, cause were all failures at art here.

Well most of us?

ANYWAYS, the other day I was looking around the forum and I noticed something, locked into the corner of each and everyone?s little information posting card there is little space, and in this little space there is a name, a post count, user title, and last but not least a little 100 by 100 picture.

Well, then I looked at my picture and saw that, oh gosh darn it, completely lacked one entirely. Well guys, the new compitition is as follows.

MAKE MEGELL A DISPLAY PIC COMPITION!

YAY!

Alright, so here?s the rules:

1) Unlike the name of the title of the contest would suggest, YOU DON?T ACTUALLY HAVE TO MAKE THE PIC. Yes, you can post one you have found online, giving a link to the site you got it from is optional, but taking it as your own is against the rules entirely and will lead to disqualification for you entry.

2) You are however to take full credit for edited images provided that one of the following requirements are fulfilled:
-You insert a clever quote into the image to make it funny.
-You change 20% or more of the total pixels OR change a reasonable amount of color. (Example changing drackies icon to look like me by changing colors.)

3) Now this rule will be a good one that is bound to annoy a couple of people. IF YOU USE GIMP TO EDIT A IMAGE TYPICALLY, AND PHOTOSHOP IS AVALIABLE TO YOU, YOU MUST USE PHOTOSHOP!

LIKEWISE, IF YOU USE PHOTO SHOP AND GIMP IS AVALABLE YOU MUST USE GIMP!

And that?s the rules.

Entries will stop whenever I feel that the competition has gone on long enough, and voting will go on as long as we want. You can vote more then once for multiple images, just vote for the ones you think should one. You can only vote for an image once. Other then that, Straight forward.

The prize is, I will use the winning icon for a minimum of three months. I cannot change it in that time, and you guys get a potential laugh.

You can have this:

It's something that has sat on my hard drive for years. It is the product of another forum game. One person warps an image, then everyone tries to guess. It's been so long that I have no idea what this was, but I zoomed in on that little guy and circled him to make a point because I thought it might be relevant and nobody was guessing it. I did that a lot.
Basically, it's a ridiculously obscure image modified from an image modified to look nothing like the original product which nobody has seen. Totally obscure, and thus chic.
