Hear a pic of a nasty bug that happen when you move in to a new map spote, if the map you are working on is still being sent to the sever
I wold like to have a upload bar in the mapeditor so i no its safe to move to a new map with out this happening all the time.
So fare the only way to fixs this is to log out then login agan.
A upload bar is needed so i can tell when the map has been uploaded.
Giseing dos not work sice sometime uploading is fast and other times it is slow.

The best thing to do is wait till the FPS goes back up to 19-21 average. When that happens everything will be sent. I'm working on finding some text compression code to make map sending faster (the server has to receive 46kb from the user and then send it back to each user on the map). This will be fixed soon. I'm working on that and MySQL right now.
Side Note: Sorry the server was down last night I thought I restarted it.

OK, I have finally (after a lot of testing and debugging) managed to compress the map packets and made them send quite a bit faster. The only problem now is that since it loops through all the tiles on the map to send (that's 30x30 tiles = 900 tiles to loop through) it seems that part is what is making it slow now. I'm looking in to ways of doing this more efficiently. Any ideas would be helpful!

This bug is still in the game but the amount of time it takes to send a map has been greatly decreased and so this shouldn't be a problem anymore.
