If I were to just randomly get up and move somewhere... Where might you recommend I go.
Suggest a town/city, or country. And tell me the benifits.

I have been actively thinking about four options: Toronto, Ireland, England, or Japan.

I'm open for suggestions. Nothing is for sure yet.

i always thought it would be awesome to go to Japan. It's a massive change from our traditions and ways of life, and not to mention while you're their you could get back in touch with your ninja self you'll also be developing new language skills and be able to buy some awesome gadgets that never makes it anywhere else in the world

If you go to England or Ireland, you can go to France, Spain, Italy, Germany, etc all within a few hours flight, and usually for around $150US or less return as well. Europe is your oyster, you could for example take one day of and go to Paris for 3 days over the weekend. Plus of course we speak the same language.

What sort of thing would you do for work?

For work, I'm not sure yet. I have not had any post-secondary education yet. That's one of the reasons why I am hesitant right now.

Not only is japan cool and all, but osaka is sorta the slums...

There you will see asian wiggers. And if thats not entertianing I don't know what is.

Casey, why don't you start your own adventure? Don't take anyone or anything that you can relate to home.

That's what I want to do. Start anew.
Meet new people, see new things.
Possibly wipe clean my life here. Even if it means leaving these forums.

If I do make a move, I might be trying to avoid everyone I know but family. It's not that I don't like anyone, but it's the whole experience of finding something new and finding out if I like it or not. I may come back. I may not. I don't know what I want to do about it yet.

CT, I appreciate the need to deconstruct everything and create yourself from scratch.
I do. But there's still something to be said about sharing the experience, have someone nearby who is going through the same thing.
I wouldn't be a symbol of your old life if I've also abandoned it. I would be, as you, defining a new self.

I'm not trying to edge my way into your existential reformation, but I know that, in very much the same position, I would and do prefer it if I had a good friend such as yourself to lean on if need be, but at the very least to walk beside.
