Well, I've had a nasty history of mishaps and boredom combining to destroy the RPs that I create, though the central factor in all of it is a lack of planing... I create them on a whim and when something odd happens in it or when the plot just doesn't seem right anymore, I get bored and abandon it. So, for my next one, I'd like to properly plan.

Problem is though that I'm not sure which way I want to go with it. I've got a few ideas, each with good and bad things. So, I'll list them, and I'd like to get some idea of who would join, if they think it'd last, etc.

Pokemon RP - It could be fun, probably based in Johto or Hoenn, but the problem would be that people might get bored of it. It'd be a long campaign, and those tend not to finish anyway, so it doesn't really matter I guess, but still it'd be nice to get into it.

Another problem I see with this idea is character entrances. We could probably be okay with starting it off with two people simultaneously, however a third and fourth character would have to wait a little bit to jump in.

Fantasy RP - Everybody likes them, and I'm working on a fantasy world anyway, so if I could get a story behind it and set us off then it could be good. This also would be lengthly, but once again, it's something to do.

Mecha RP - It'd be fun, but would require some work on the part of the participants to kick off. I'd probably base it heavily around the parts and robots you'd see in Armored Core, so in essence it'd be an AC fan-fiction RP, but it could still be made fun.

Open to any suggestions.

Personally, I only really enjoy the fantasy setting. I might join the mecha rp but the pokemon is a definite no. Fantasy offers the widest range of potential players as you don't really need a background in anything.
Ummm...Yay?

I'm really up fpr anything other then the pokemon deal. however if you did make a giant robot RP. I would be so involved in like 3 seconds its not even funny. if you didn't guess from the failure that was the symphonic, I'm a major mecha RP fan!

Yeah, I saw that. I'll start working on that, and will probably post a couple of standard ACs and link you guys to a program you can download and use to create your own custom AC if you're not satisfied with he standards.
