Err i know i havent got anything to do with all this - but i got thing about maps i like em, so i had a go for fun.

I only have paint too...

Of course i know nothing about the game so i wasnt sure what was a village and what wasnt, im sure its all wrong

Hey, I was bored at school so I thought I'd post a more defined version of your world map! I hope you like some of the changes.

Yes I do. No help though...I'm the only one on my team. It's alright though...I've tried working with other people in the past and it usually doesn't work out too well; so I don't mind working solo.

But back on topic....I did that map in Photoshop just by using Layer Blending and Filter Galleries...a few minute's work. Drackir, how come your graphics guy doesn't make a professional world map for you?

Because my graphics guy is a) a sprite artist and non-existant. I do have a special world map but I'm holding out on that for a while yet.

Pretty much. Although I redrew it because the original was pretty round and 'smooth on the edges'. Wanted to give it a more landlike appearance. Then filled in each zone with color and gave them some texture. After that I through on a color filter over the entire map.
