Oh yeah we still talk.  We all get together for a game of poker every once in a while...........a game of... /gasp .... GHOST POKER.

Long ago, in a dark land called Fondusi's; thirteen fierce warriors roamed the land.  They pillaged every town they passed, leaving no survivors.  The thirteen warriors were mercilous, and had conquered many great civilizations within this land of Fondusi's.  Then one day, the god of Fondusis's--Drackir spoke.  He told the warriors that this land was to change; that the warriors would no longer plague it with war and conquests.  This angered the thirteen warriors, and they took up arms against the mighty Drackir.  The warriors, however, underestimated his power and were quickly defeated.  Drackir banished the thirteen from this land, and they were never seen again.  To this day, you can still hear the screams of the innocent civilians, and the roar of the missing thirteen echoing throughout these forum walls.....

It's not too shabby. Looks like you just took mine and gave each colour a texture.

Pretty much. Although I redrew it because the original was pretty round and 'smooth on the edges'. Wanted to give it a more landlike appearance. Then filled in each zone with color and gave them some texture. After that I through on a color filter over the entire map.

What makes you think I'm experienced?

Because my graphics guy is a) a sprite artist and non-existant. I do have a special world map but I'm holding out on that for a while yet.

I posted a world map that I did in Photoshop on page 2 of this thread. What do you think?
