It's good for your brain, especially the French kind. It's like Lead, but better!

Alternatively you could siphon gasoline. It's cheaper and hurts less.

You find out what's important to a country by looking in its vending machines.
Canada/US: papers depicting horrible things. France: wine. Japan: panties.

Erm not in Europe its not. Wine 70p for .8 Litres, Petrol 92p 1 litre or 87.5p for wine compared to 92p for 'Gas'. Now thats having your priorities the right way round, and if its French or Spanish, its going to be drinkable, it just may not taste nice.

Hmm vending machines, quite boring here... but not even the French put wine in vending machines, althogh the germans still have ciggerettes in street machines, presumably for schoolkids to spend their pocket money one i suppose :)

Apparently its used as a way of revivng stale bred... how a few slices of bread would be worth the expense of eggs and a little milk is beyond me. Surely it woudl just be cheaper to buy new bread.

You must be kidding! 10 quid on a bottle of wine? You don't need to spend that! Maybe you kids only need to one to share to get drunk, but if i have freinds around we'll need a few and truth be told you can get very good red, Carbenet, Alsace or Loire for 3 or 4 pound. Tsk.

Austrailian wine is like a dull blade, useless, and with no point. True quality comes in a German vintage, the cold gives it a clear, crisp taste without suffering the loss that comes from the heat. All natural.

I disagree, an austrialian wine has a finer palet. Its not so overpowering as you feel like you've been hit by the flavor, rather the aftertaste and the mingling of the lighter flavor makes it definately better then a more solid german wine.
